Sacha Baron Cohen as Freddie Mercury (Bohemian Rhapsody)
Freddy Mercury is a legend and the idea of making a movie about him alone was a difficult task. The scrips, the writings and the actors to cast had to be the best. Sacha Baron Cohen was approached by the producers to play the main part, but he turned down the role because he had a conflict with the members of Queen. He thought it wasn't realistic enough. And then Rami Malek bagged the movie and did an amazing job.

Matt Damon as Jake Sully (Avatar)
This movie's budget was $237 million. And 20th-century fox approached Matt Damon for the role but he had a busy schedule and so had to turn down the offer.

Emma Watson as Cinderella
Emma Watson was offered the role to play Cinderella. She didn't like the character because it wasn't a suitably empowered role model. But then, Lily James played Cinderella and Emma Watson starred in Beauty and the Beast.

Charlize Theron as Roxie Hart (Chicago)
Charlize Theron said that she almost got a part in Chicago. But since the director was fired which is why she got out of the movie.

The writer of the book, Stephenie Meyer, wanted Henry Cavill to play Edward. Stephanie said, “Henry Cavill is the only actor who can play this part.†But she didn't offer the movie to Henry as he looked too old for the role, where he was only 24 while Robert Pattinson was 22.

Kelly Osbourne as Anna Coleman (Freaky Friday)
This rom-com about a mother and daughter was a hilarious one. Linsay definitely did justice to the role but originally Kelly was supposed to play the role.

The Princess Diaries is one of the best movies that we know. Every actress wanted to play Mia Thermopolis but as fate wanted the Film producers to choose Anne Hathaway.

We cannot imagine any other actor playing the Joker as Jared was a perfect choice. But, Warner Bros. offered Ryan the role of Joker but he refused to sign the contract because he didn’t like the terms.

if Macaulay had signed Titanic, the great hit, his career would surely have escalated. The film producers were ready to offer the actor the role of the main hero, but James Cameron was against it.

Pamela Anderson as Scully (The X-Files)
Gillian Anderson said, “Pamela was somebody who was more familiar to them in terms of what was on TV at the time. They were looking for someone bustier, taller, and leggier than me. They couldn’t fathom how David and I could equal success.â€
