#8 The Complete Home
Luke Thill of Dubuque from Iowa cobbled together material from various sources such as he took an old siding from his grandmother’s house, a front door from a relative of a friend for building his dream house which is complete with a kitchen.
#7 Keeping Himself Constructively Busy
In the age where children spend half of their time playing and other half browsing the Internet on their Ipads and other gadgets, Luke is a bit different. He kept himself busy in constructing this masterpiece for himself
#6 The Masterpiece
Also, for constructing this masterpiece, Luke raised funds for the house via the internet. Luke said his motivation came from a need to show responsibility. "I liked the minimalism," he told the Des Moines Register. "And I wanted to have a house without a huge mortgage." Money expert Clark Howard really loves this guy's attitude!
#5 Using the recycled material
Using 75% recycled materials most of which were the things from his grandma's house, Luke built his dream home. Further, the front door of the house was a gift from an uncle’s friend.
#4 Seeking Help
An electrician also agreed to help with the wiring of the home if the eighth-grader agreed to clean out his garage, according to local news. Another man agreed to help him lay carpet in his loft bedroom if Luke cut his grass. So, this is how he bartered with other people for construction of his home.
#3 The Supporting Parents
Greg and Angie Thill who are Luke's parents were also quite impressed with their son's mission. They saw their son was on a mission and gave him the go-ahead to build a home on the family's four-acre property.

This is how his dream home looks. He has made several videos about his tiny dwelling. The tiny homes, typically defined as a dwelling between 100 and 400 square feet, allow homeowners to save big on things such as maintenance costs and utility bills. The homes offer another huge benefit that was extreme mobility. If you don’t like where your tiny home is located, you can move it.
