Shana Marie Perez, a Georgia mom is all on fumes after learning that 5-year old son, Thomas was threatened with suspension as he refused to be paddled by his school principal. However, according to Shana, if Thomas gets suspended one more time, she would be arrested for truancy.
Shana posts that, it was just a week ago when she got arrested as her son could not attend school for 18 days due to Doctor's appointments. According to the mother, Jasper County Primary School could have ignored the matter and granted the leaves.

#4 School's take on the matter
However, the school did not consider the leave application and started the doctor's appointments to be a mere excuse due to which Shana had to be arrested against truancy charges. Now Thomas seems to have created another trouble for her. He is a 5-year old and cannot be charged, and thus Shana looks up to the school and its authorities.
#3 Principal's cruel punishments
According to Shana, this time Thomas allegedly tried to hit a student and spitted on his classmate, when he was summoned to the principal's office. On being tried to be paddled, he begged to be pardoned. But instead he was threatened with suspension. As per Shana the school is not authorised to paddle her son under any circumstances. She already had an agreement with the school regarding the same.

While Perez already knew the school permits paddling, she says,"she had no idea about the trouble. I had already signed an agreement with the school stating that my son cannot be paddled under any circumstances. And now they are asking for either paddling or suspension."

Shana has also shared a video where Thomas begs the Principal not to paddle him and seeks for solution to the trouble she is in. She does not want to get arrested again, however, getting her son paddled isn't the solution as well. She helplessly posted the matter on facebook seeking for consideration from school and the principal.
