An airplane lover
Not many are aware about the fact that Vladimir Putin is a licensed pilot and once co-piloted a plane in order to put out a forest wildfire.
It is rumoured that he owns around 15 helicopters in his personal fleet while he has a total of more than 58 planes which he uses frequently.
The most impressive aircraft among them all is the IlyusinII-96 model aircraft.

Candid and Frank
Vladimir Putin is always known to express his opinions quite candidly.
He showed his aggressive front on matters such as Edward Snowden and Syria.
When he was once critically questioned about his country's ways of dealing with arms and armed men, Putin replied strongly saying, Russia doesn’t negotiate with them, it destroys them.

He is a charmer
He has the uncanny knack of being popular with women. His frank and forthright attitude is a big hit among the ladies.
Not for nothing he is considered to be a ladies man. He has been involved in plenty of rumours which again speculated his way with women.

A spy who became a world leader
Growing up, Putin adored spy novels and TV shows.
While he was still in school, Putin joined the KGB security and knowledge organisation.
The individuals at KGB central station instructed him to try sincerely and study law.
So Putin did precisely that, at Leningrad State University, and later went through 17 years as a mid-level operator working in remote insight.
He started his career as an agent for the feared Russia intelligence agency KGB and continued to work as a recruiter in East Germany from 1975-1991.
He destroyed all the KGB files in the headquarters in Dresden as the Berlin Wall was falling in 1989 and mob was trying to enter the premises.
He left the agency in 1991 at the rank of lieutenant colonel.

He once saved a crew
In 2008, Putin helped in saving a TV crew in the chaos of Ussuri nature reserve. The crew were filming the Siberian tigers present in the area.
One of the tigresses from the pack allegedly pounced on the crew accompanying him, Putin being the hero that he is, shot the tigress with a tranquilliser dart.
Putin later admitted that the whole incident was staged in order to bring the plight of the Siberian Tigers to the world.

A wealthy man
It has been widely reported that Vladimir Putin has a personal worth of around 46 billion pounds. Though the official number has never been out in the public, Putin is known to have stakes in most of the big Russian companies and is known to own mansions.
The largest of his mansions is named as the Putin Palace and is built near the Black Sea village of Praskoveevka.
It is estimated to cost near about 750 million pounds and is one of the 20 villas that the Russian President allegedly owns in Russia itself.

A father and his Daughters
Not many people know that Putin has two daughters Mariya Putina and Tekaterina Putina, born in Dresden.
They have never been photographed and their existence has remained a mystery to even the Russian media.
Both get educated under different names and live in secret places
Putin to his credit, has never spoken about them in any manner, formal or informal.

A famed martial artist
While growing up, he took prime interest in martial arts. He especially developed a liking towards Judo and earned his black belt in Judo when he was 18.
He still keenly practices the art regularly and is also trained in the Russian martial art Sambo.
