Obsessed with beards
Men are obsessed with their beards and it is really very hard to make them decide to cut it off. But this man takes it to a whole new level. He was so obsessed with keeping his hair and beard long that he didn't shave or cut his hair for 12 years.
Josh
Meet Josh, the man who didn't cut his hair or shaved his beard for 12 years. That is since his military career ended. He looked quite different and he got comfortable into his hairy look and denied to come out of it.
Surprised
But when he finally decided to let go of the comfort and take on a new look, to refresh, he not only surprised his girlfriend but the whole world.
His boring look
The 38-year-old even started wearing the same outfit every day, which seemed a little off. A while T-shirt and blue jeans with work boots. He looked boring.
Heidi
Heidi, his girlfriend confessed that she missed how her boyfriend used to look. She used to beg him to trim and said that he used to look like a 'caveman' but he refused to trim his hair. She said, “just want him to be a little less… hairyâ€.
Oprah helped
But after years of efforts, Heidi finally had someone who would convince him and give him a makeover. It was none other than Oprah herself.
Josh gave them dare...
Look for yourself, how they transformed him and gave him the looks of a model. Josh had told the style experts, “I dare you to make me look better than I do right now.â€
Tim Gunn
Tim Gunn from the Project Runway took the challenge, they were all in doubt if they could pull this off, and they eventually did. He didn't change only the looks but it worked on his personality too.

Gunn said, “It’s all about reflecting who they are, their core, making them better, enhancing them.†Josh then added, “I feel like a new man.†His girlfriend Heidi was surprised and said, “He looks great, and this is exactly what I’ve been trying to get him to do. He still has a beard and [facial] hair, but he looks great. I can’t get over it. Thank you, Tim!â€
