#7 Checking the wrapping!

#6 All in the seams
Genuine perfume has a flawless seam. If the wrapping is unattractive or too gluey, it's artificial.

#5 Paperboard
Genuine perfumes have white high-quality paperboard covering and no other. There's a special construction inside the perfume box to hold the perfume bottle in place.

#4 Labels!
When buying a perfume, don't hesitate to check the manufacturer's site to cross check the information on the box. All should match! even the slightest mismatch is a sign of counterfeit.

#3 Design
The same goes when looking at the designs of the perfume bottle. They are masked perfectly and made to look exactly the same as the original. So, be sure to be very attentive when buying perfume.

#2 Color Of Perfume
Authentic perfumes are very pale in color since they are not made using heavy dyes. The counterfeit dyes on the other hand, have a chemical like appearance.

#1 Serial Number
The authentic perfumes will have a serial number indicated at the bottom of the bottle and not glued on. The authentic perfume serial number is marked with ink or imprinted on the box.
