#3 Internet Bullies
Internet, Boon or Bane??? This question has been a point of discussion from past one decade. And guess what, no one has found any convincingly justified answer to it. Well wait, I think we have.
There are many online predators lurking on social media that get joy out of preying on the lives of innocent young boys and girls. It's scary how many children use social media these days. Personally, I wouldn't let my child on the site until I knew that they fully understood the dangers of it. Just look at the video and you'll know why!
#2 Harsh reality
Unfortunately, there are tons of kids out there who use social networking sites without even understanding its disadvantages. Kids use the site to interact with their friends, however, they are likely to make new friends along the way, some of which are complete strangers whom they have never met face to face. Most kids do it casually, without even thinking. Most of the time parents might think they have control over what their children are doing on the internet, but many of them are oblivious or unaware of what's really going on.
So in the foolowing video, Coby Persin creates a fake teenage female's profile and uses it to befriend and then lure in unsuspecting teenage boys to meet up. What ends up happening is a NOT what the boys signed up for. Curious? Check out the video on the next page.

Now the fact is that, tons of kids fall prey to such criminals on internet. As parents, it is your responsibility to make sure that they know all these things before they start using social media so actively.
