#5 Nagging wives are a pain. Or maybe not?
Many men complain that their wives nag a little too much. Brains situation was pretty much the same until one day it saved its life.
Brian Walker is a regular truck driver who lives happily with his loving wife, Helen.
#4 The Issue
One day, Brian examine a bump on his elbow and shuns it away saying it was a bug bite, being a stubborn truck driver. His wife, Helen was not happy with that and took things in her own hands and pushed him to go get it checked.
#3 Unpredictable things happen
Upon arrival at the clinic, the doctors ran some tests to determine the problem. After the test results had been out, they discovered that it was a rare Inflammatory MyofibroblasticTumor (IMT) and it was so rare that he was the only known case among 5 others in the world.
#2 The Treatment
After the discovery of the disease, doctors prepped him for surgery to eliminate the ever-growing non-malignant tumor. During surgery and big chunk of his skin and muscle was lost due to the tumor. The doctors had to use tissue from his back to replace the lost parts.
#1 Wife is the best
Brian cannot stop thanking his wife for nagging him to do this. She saved his life because of it. It is important for all of us to keep our precious pride aside and take care of our health especially when we don’t know what it could be. It takes only a couple of hours to get it treated instead of suffering a lifetime.
