Remember our article in which we gave you some brilliant hacks and tips to make your home more safe? Well, this one is no different. In fact, this is a very useful tip that we are about to give you. Everyone has heard the trick to ward off would-be intruders or attackers with keys: Just stick those keys between your fingers, and prepare to stab. But guess what: that's not really going to work. Instead, by the time your attacker is close enough for you to stab them, you'll likely throw the keys to the ground and either fight them or run. So rather, do what we ask you to do!
Here we tell you a better use of your keys. How about putting them beside your bed at night? Tell your spouse, your children, your neighbors, your parents, your Dr's office, the check-out girl at the market, everyone you run across. Put your car keys beside your bed at night. # WHY?
I know that you'll be really confused about why we asked you to keep your car keys besides your bed. Its simple! "If you hear a noise outside your home or someone trying to get in your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until either you turn it off or the car battery dies." This is a very useful tip, mind you! Use it as a security alarm system when you are not using it as a key.
"If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break into your house, odds are the burglar/rapist won't stick around. After a few seconds, all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal won't want that. And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there." Now you never thought about a car key like that before, did you?
