A camera is something that helps a capture a moment forever, all the emotions and feeling are kept contained inside the pictures it takes.
Kyle Puelston, from Minnesota was doing just that. A day out at the river and he was capturing the pictures of his family using just his camera.
But then...
#4 Lost the Camera
But unfortunately, Kyle ended up loosing the camera when a tandem cliff jump into the Temperance River knocked off the GoPro was on his head.
He swam for half an hour in the river looking for the camera. But ultimately had to accept defeat and conceded that it was now lost forever.
Was it truly lost forever?
#3 About one year later...
One year later, two brothers were snorkeling in the same river, when they found the camera. Somehow, the GoPro's waterproof case had managed to keep it preserved through the winter ice and spring thaw. Chris Flores' brother pulled it out, but, since he already had one, he gave it to Chris.
Was it the same camera that Kyle lost?!
#2 Memories
When Flores got home, expecting the camera to be empty, he found that the memory card was inside, and it was full of home videos. As a father who had almost lost his baby daughter the year before, he knew he had to find the owner and give him back those precious memories. So he did some "detective work" and discovered that Puelston was in SWAT training, and that he had to be in the police force. He kept looking and zooming in, and saw Puelston's Chicago County Sheriff's Department patch.
So? Did he find him? Read on!
#1 He said he had to find Puleston because he was a father too.
"It's all so fleeting, we're not guaranteed tomorrow," Flores said. His daughter is doing well now but Flores says there is no price for the memory every picture contains.
Puelston was thrilled to get back the memory card, but told Flores to keep the camera. He said that what Flores did was a testament of his character.
And we agree.
