#5 Tracking…!
You have no clue, your mere like, share of a page helps Facebook track you, until a friend asks you about the photo you recently liked.
Unfortunately, you become an intolerable person to your friends.
Here’s what you need to know.
#4 ‘EdgeRank‘
Facebook has been upgraded and it is now using an algorithm named ‘EdgeRank’ which fills your newsfeed with all sorts of images and links depending on the recent page you liked or shared.
It's also the math that governs why your news feed refuses to stay in real chronological order, even after you set it to "most recent."
#3 Weightage of Reactions?
Think before you click…!
Till now Facebook hasn’t set any special weightage to the reactions. All the reactions like, love, sad, angry etc. have equal weightage, till date.
But you never know, what’s up next, may be Facebook decides to bestow extra advantage on LOVE reaction.
#2 Points to keep in mind
Ignoring a post is better than reacting on it. If a post didn’t make you happy then ignore it rather than giving it an ANGRY reaction.
As told earlier every action is counted, so don’t like anything that comes in your newsfeed as it might fill your newsfeed page with all sorts of garbage posts.
#1 The Solution
Think before you push the like button because you never know which page gets broadcasted to all your friends. Here are some other tips:
Set the posting rights to ‘only me’ for the pages you like from your profile.
Check your Activity Log.
