Mom Picks Up Her Child From Day Care Notices A 'Rude Sign' On Door Instantly Took Picture Which Is Viral Now On Internet

Juliana Farris Mazurkiewicz

Juliana Farris Mazurkiewicz is a mother and while she was heading inside to pick her daughter up from her Hockley, Texas, daycare center, she noticed a bunt sign. It shocked her because it was nothing regarding taking food inside or about children talking but it said that the parents should change their behavior.

It was offensive

All the parents were quite offended by the sign but Juliana couldn't agree more. She shared the message on Facebook and garnered attention from more than one million people in just the span of a few days. Everyone posted their opinions on the sign.

The internet debate

It is indeed a great Internet debate as one afternoon, Juliana noticed another sign that they had put up in the front window, which read, "You are picking up your child! GET OFF YOUR PHONE!!!! Your child is happy to see you! Are you not happy to see your child?? We have seen children trying to hand their parents their work they completed and the parent is on the phone. We have heard a child say, 'Mommy, mommy, mommy...' and the parent is paying more attention to their phone than their own child. It is appalling. Get off your phone!!

Another post

Juliana was more shocked by the staff's direct message and so she snapped a photo of the sign and posted on her Facebook page. By only the span of a few hours, her notifications went buzzing by people sharing their thoughts.

She told CNN...

Juliana was not offended by this, instead, she told CNN, "I was a bit shocked, but I didn't feel any negativity towards the daycare. I know that the staff has the best interests of the children in mind, even to the point where they are willing to offend the parent."

But others were offended

Not everyone shared the same thoughts as Juliana, the other parents were offended and one commented on her post, "This is ridiculous. Who is anyone to tell a child's parent not to use their phone? They might be working? Or have an emergency or anything else that's none of their business." Everyone has different opinions on different situations and so does the parents who took ill of the situation. They should never forget that life is precious and kids are precious, we should focus on living our lives now, rather than involving much in the virtual world.
