#8 Traffic
China has some of the most craziest traffic jams in the world! And it so happens they have come up with a solution to their traffic jam woes. They have built an elevated bus that can go over traffic jams.

#7 Transit Elevated Bus
Back in May, the Transit Elevated Bus was just a model. And just 3 months later, China has presented the world with a working model. This TEB can revolutionize the public transport!

#6 Couldn't Happen
The idea for the first Transit Elevated Bus(TEB) was proposed at the 19th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo. And they only had a tiny model to prove it could work. To be honest, no one thought it could really be made.
But, someone took it as a challenge! Who? Read on to find out!

#5 Kept Their Word
Despite only having a miniature model, developers Jinchuang Corp, assured that they would have the real thing ready by August. And they did it! Just yesterday the TEB ran its first test course.

#4 The First Ride!
The first test drive of the TEB was undertaken at Qinhuangdao, Hebei. It was tested for about 300 meters. But the very fact that it worked and was built as said was very much applauded.

#3 Check
During its first test ride, the TEB was primarily tested for its power consumption and brake test. It's max speed is designed to be at 40 miles per hour, which makes it a pretty fast public transport.
And guess what its powered by?!

#2 Structure
The TEB is powered by electricity. It is approximately 25 feet wide and 72 feet long. The TEB can carry approximately 1200 passengers at a time.

#1 Big hit!
Many countries were astonished to see this concept be actually converted into reality Countries like India, France, Brazil and Indonesia have already started reaching out to their own potential versions of TEB.
