#4 Angry Cashier
It happened when I was exiting the grocery shop after paying my bill and collecting my stuff and I saw the cashier at the other counter grunting at a young couple. Their appearance very clearly stated they did not have enough money to pay for the groceries and the cashier rolling her eyes and sucking her teeth at them scared the poor girl even more.
#3 Cashier Shouts
$123.40, shouted the cashier while the girl fumbled her purse looking for her food card. She handed it over to the cashier; however, the cashier sniggered at them when it displayed the balance available to be only $95. She merrily shouted it to them again, when I stepped forward to interrupt and intervene.
Some people should be stopped there and then!

#2 Coupon availed!
"Firstly, you really need to lower your tone and try and be more polite to your customers and secondly, I would like to see what I can do for them and don't you dare give me those looks. Am not a teenager to take those." I took out my coupons and after scanning all three, I handed them to the cashier along with my food card.
Even though it did not seem to go too well for the cashier, but she remained quiet, and what pissed her most was, that one swipe of my card along with the coupon codes brought the bill amount down to $68.5. The couple jumped in excitement. Moreover, while we walked out, I turned to have a look at the cashier. She was almost in tears but remained silent and was trying to control herself.
#1 Be Considerate
"Why?" Why is it so difficult for few people to help, to be considerate, to be encouraging to the needful? "Nothing! Nothing at all!" Still, few people refrain from helping. I can get more of those coupons anytime I need, but that smile and gratitude the couple had for me seemed priceless!
