#5 The Sinkhole
In the city of Fukuoka City of the Japan, a mammoth sinkhole swallowed the streets. On the 8th November 2016, at around 5 A.M in the morning, the sinkhole showed up.
Due to this, the supplies for almost 80 households were cut off till the reconstruction.
#4 The Roller Coaster
Though there were rumours that the hole was fixed in 2 days, it took one week for the Japanese to fix it.
The sinkhole was 15m deep, 30m long & 27m wide. The 5 lane road was fixed in just a week.
For fixing the sinkhole, a roller coaster was used to check the ground's strength initially.
The hole got filled using a particular soil, produced by Kankyoushisetsu Resonant Incorporation. This soil when blended with water and cement becomes hard, even in water. The same soil is used at coal mining sites when similar cave-ins appear by experts with knowledge of mining accidents.
#3 The Final Part
After it was allowed to settle for some time, the road was wrapped in sheets for around a day long.
Then, the sheets were taken off, the roads were once tested and in less than a week, the 5 lane road was fully functional.

But experts from all over the world doubted if this solution was temporary. Knowing the Japanese efficiency, not everyone was sure if any problems would show up soon.
As feared, the City officials say that the movement was expected as the sand and cement used to fill the hole takes some time to settle.
When everyone was happy to believe in Japan's efficiency, the sand showing up at the sweet spot turned it totally down!!
