Inspired By Colorado Rockies
This trailer was designed by Dan Huling, a stage and a theatrical prop designer, who was inspired by his childhood memories of the old mining towns in the Colorado Rockies.
Interiors of the home
This house is 24 feet long and is spread over 200 square feet with a steel frame. The trailer incorporates a small pet door along with heart pine, steel trim clad and blue stained cedar.
The Roof
The roof is tiled using Onduvilla tiles along with an app that controls the air conditioning unit.
The Small Kitchen Area
The door of the trailer is made of the glass which slides away. There is a propane stove with a posh Verona oven and an energy efficient fridge which works on solar energy and grid power.
The Dining Area
There are a porcelain sink, butcher’s block countertop and a custom cabinet which adds floor space in this tiny apartment-cum-trailer.The trailer also has a small dining area along with adjustable stools.
The Bedroom
The bedroom can be also converted into the living room as it doesn’t leave any space for the further furnishing of the living room. There is a small loft which could be reached using a ladder. There is a sliding door which opens up in a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. The cost of shower head alone is USD $1000.
The Home Theatre System
The Earth and Sky palace have a 5.1 home theatre system. The temperature set up by Friedrich air conditioning unit can be regulated with your iOS device. Also, there is a water heater which runs on propane and can also be controlled by a touchscreen.
The Solar Panel
The palace has its electricity and water sources as regular, but one can choose to install the solar panel system to use clean energy. The houses use LEDs lighting and have a spray foam insulation.
