Ever heard of the Superstition Mountains In Phoenix? Right here in the Grand Canyon state are the famous Superstitions Mountains. As the legend has it in the 1800s, it was reported that Jacob Waltz found a vast gold mine in the mountains. Depending the version of the story you have heard (as there are several out there), Mr. Waltz kept the exact location of the gold mine a secret until his deathbed. Till this day, the gold mine has not been discovered. There are several rumors that those who died searching for the mysterious gold mine haunt the mountains. Others have reported that little people known as Tuar-Tums live below the surface of the mountains in the caves and tunnels guarding the secret gold mine. #3 Disappearance of the Village of Lake Anjikuni

You know something is terribly wrong when an entire village mysteriously gets disappear overnight. Back in November 1930 the entire village of Lake Anjikuni disappeared mysteriously leaving everything behind including food and rifles. There have been various versions of the story ranging from a population of 30 to 2000 that had virtually disappeared into thin air.

What makes this incident more mysterious is that despite the vast amount of food left behind seven sled dogs were found 300 miles away from the village dead from starvation. Too much to think, isn't it?

#2 The Dragon's Triangle

Located off the coast of Japan is the Bermuda Triangle's sibling The Dragon's Triangle or as some call it The Devil's Sea. The story is unbelievable. This mysterious location is rumored to have a vast amount of interesting phenomena occur including unexplained lights and objects and mysterious disappearances. It holds such a fear over the region that the Japanese Fishing Authorities consider the area dangerous. One documented story goes back to the year 1952 when The Japanese government sent out a research vessel the Kaio Maur No.5 to investigate the mysterious occurrences surrounding the Devil's Sea. Of course, everyone in the ship including the crew died.

#1 Bigelow Ranch In Utah

And finally in the list we have Bigelow Ranch In Utah. This place is in the Radar from 50's. The most noteworthy of events seem to have occurred when a ranching couple bought the Ranch in 1994 Terry and Gwen Sherman. From the very day they were on the property, strange occurrences started for the couple. Well, wait for it. Their first interaction was with a wolf that allowed them to pet the creature.

Moments after this the creature savagely tore apart one of their calves. Despite Mr. Sherman trying to shoot the wolf, the bullets had no effect on the creature. This is not where it all ends, when attempting to track the animal down its tracks mysteriously disappeared making it impossible to locate the animal. Following this were a host of other strange occurrences including UFO sightings. This already is so scary.
