This is such a beautiful place to visit. Not many know about this place. A tiny village with a great view of the Verdon gorge, in a pretty setting, and famous for the resident vulture colony.

#9 Tristan da Cunha, Saint Helena
Most of us doesn't even know which continent this place is situated in. The most remote location in the world, Tristan da Cunha. It is situated over a thousand miles from the nearest land and has 300 residents. This is only accessible by a six-day boat journey from South Africa or as part of epic month-long cruises through the South Atlantic Ocean. Wow!!!

#8 Monsanto, Portugal
This looks dominantly Picture perfect. Beautiful walls, beautiful roads. Monsanto in Portugal has built its homes around the 200-tonne rocks in the area. It has 828 brave residents who live here under this huge rock.

#7 Undredal, Norway
Norway is known for its beautiful weather and beautiful surroundings. Undredal is an example of that. This fairytale village is hidden in a narrow valley in the Aurlandsfjord in Norway, and looks like something in the Disney movie. This beautiful settlement is the home for approximately 100 people and 500 goats. It is a popular tourist destination. Underdal is also famous for the brown goat cheese and even produces goat sausages.

#6 Furore, Italy
This place is not less than a dream. It is a brightly colored settlement tucked away in the mouth of the fjord, Italy. The mayor of this town ordered its civilians that all the buildings should be painted in the vibrant colours so that the village could be easily viewed from the coastal roads.

#5 Sapa, Vietnam
This place is amazing. Just look at the picture and you'll understand. Sapa is one of the most beautiful places on earth and is home to villagers who farm the rice fields and sell it to the visitors. Isn't it amazing?

#4 Isortoq, Greenland
This is one of the coldest places in this world. The remote east Greenland village of Isortoq includes a supermarket in the large red building clearly visible in the picture. Here is even ketchup and mayonnaise available for eating with seal. This village has only 64 people reside in the middle of miles of snow and ice.

#3 Gasadalur Village, Denmark
Denmark is a country that everyone wants to visit at least once in their lifetime. Only 16 people live here in this isolated tiny village nestled high on the cliffs near the coast of the beautiful Faroe Islands. A tunnel was built through the mountains in 2004 to walk to the next village. But before that one need to ride over the 400m high mountain.

#2 Phugtal Monastery, India
India is the land of mysteries. So much to explore here. And one of them is this place. The Phugtal Monastery in India is hidden on a cliff at the entrance to a cave in the Zanskar region. It was founded in the early 12th century but remained a hidden until the 1800s when Alexander Cosmo de Koros visited the place and stayed there for a year.

And last but not the least, this is the bravest village in the world. This village lies on the Aogashima in the Philippine Sea, It has 200 inhabitants who live in the middle of a volcanic crater.
